Regular classes all week plus these special events.

Monday Staff Appreciation Day
Kids often make cards or bring small goodies for their favorite staff members. The staff does appreciate this so please be sure to give a special word of praise and thanks on Monday. We always follow the morning with ice cream for everyone at 12:30!

Tuesday Kids' Water BBQ from 6-8 pm.
Have the kids come in their bathing suits! Two tickets

Wednesday Kids' Tennis Tournament at noon
This is a ladder elimination event with one final girl and boy winner. Come and enjoy spectating even if your child is not playing.

Thursday Thursday Night Races
Races begin at 6:00. Bring a bottle of wine and an appetizer and come spectate from the lawn.

Friday The Kids' Dance!
A highly popular event. Kids aged 10 and over are invited to the Club from 6-9 pm to dance, eat snacks and generally enjoy each other's company. Dinner is not included in this event.

Saturday The Kaufmann Cup
Kids who have been racing Opti's and 420's in class and on Saturday mornings are eligible for this event annual dinghy regatta which begins at 10:00 am. Come watch, even if your kids are not racing.

Open House August 1st

Come see the Block Island Club and meet some of our instructors and members. We are hosting an open house Sunday morning for anyone interested in tennis, sailing, kayaking and other programs. As always, people are welcome to stop by whenever the Club is open to inquire about membership.

Kids' Dance Friday July 30th

Don't miss this annual favorite for the kids. Dress up a little, put your groove on and join us at the Clubhouse from 6:00-9:00 pm. Kids must be at least 10 years old to attend. Two tickets.

Staff Appreciation Day This Monday

If you love the staff, show them how much this Monday! Kids often make cards or bring small gifts/goodies for their favorite staff members on this day, an annual event at the Club. We top the morning off with ice cream cones for everyone at 12:30!

Kids' BBQ This Tuesday

The water BBQ for kids is scheduled for this Tuesday, July 27th from 6:00-8:00. Kids come in your suits for water fun followed by hamburgers, hot dogs and s'mores. All kids aged 6 and over are welcome. Cost is two tickets.

Ken Legler Clinic this Wednesday

Sign up at the Clubhouse for this annual day long event. Ken is a nationally ranked coach and is here to give a day long clinic to our experienced 420 sailors. Cost is 4 tickets for the day.

Open House Wednesday July 7th

Instructors will be on hand to explain the programs, classes and membership structure. See what the fun is all about. Tennis Schedule Change
6.27.2010

Intermediate Tennis will now be offered every weekday afternoon but Wednesdays at 1:00 pm. Competitive Tennis will no longer be offered in the afternoons. Competitive players may attend the Advanced Class at 10:00 am and ladder play on Sunday at noon. Please speak to Tanner if you have any questions.
